RCCG PRISON & HOSPITAL MINISTRY IN-ACTION

OUR ACTIVITIES

AT THE PRISONS IN NIGERIA

We minister the Word, provide basic necessities(food items, toiletries, etc), counselling, assist with legal issues, follow-up on developing cases and other things within our purview.

BUILDING PROJECTS

These are capital intensive projects, it come in form of building, renovation, and drilling of borehole for drinking water etc.

PROVIDE TRAINING

This type of training is both for ministry such as Bible College, school of disciples and for life like skill acquisition, call it a form of rehabilitation .

AT THE HOSPITALS IN NIGERIA

We minister the Word to instill hope, provide toiletries, provisons, payment of hospital bills for those who can't afford, praying for patients, carry out CSR duties and others permitted.

PROVIDING EDUCATION

Inmates partake in WASC/GCE to enable them take higher Education & Open University courses to reposition themselves.

BRIDGING THE GAP

Bridging the gap is two prone hook or two branch act, one is Reconciliation and the 2nd is The Justice Fight.

Maiden Edition Theme: From Hopelessness to Glory

With great delight and joy of the Lord, I welcome you to the inaugural Conference of the Prison and Hospital Ministry of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Today history is being made and the story of of the Prison and Hospital Ministry cannot be same anymore. Our daddy in the Lord Pst E.A Adeboye has been actively been Involved in Prison and Hospital Ministry before he became the General Overseer of this esteem Mission and he's fully Involved decades after. It's also on record that he single handedly built the freedom chapel in Ilesa Prison in Osun State and Oba Prison, and eighteen seater bus given to Ijebu Ode Prison in Ogun State amongst others.

I sincerely welcome all Facilitators who agreed to come and deliver talks in this Conference, we appreciate Deacon Ogunde(SAN) , the former Attorney General of Ogun State, the Controller of Prisons Lagos State Command Mr. Tunde Oladipo and Dr. Ben UBI Head of Legal EFCC Ibadan, Mr. Chucks Oti Public Relation Officer for Lagos State Police Command, Dr. Mobolaji Oludara of the Department of Surgery Lagos State University College of Medicine Teaching Hospital Ikeja.

The theme is both prophetic and filled with expectations for the Ministry and the People we minister to both in Prisons, Police Stations, Remand Homes, Hospitals and Old People Homes believing that the Lord will intervene in their cases and they will receive Christ in their lives, and begin to enjoy and reign in everlasting glory; this is our hope, prayers and expectations for all those who participating in this conference.
